WHY I LOVE TAKING PHOTOS?
Photography requires time and commitment to create an image that is perfect in your eyes. It highlights your skills and your ability to observe the world around you. Regardless of whether the outcome is positive or negative, the photographs you take reflect your artistic expression. Each picture is a masterpiece that is uniquely created by you.

Trip to Japan 2024
Japan is a true photography gem located in East Asia. With its stunning landscapes and modern city, it is undoubtedly one of the best cities to visit for a photo walk or travel experience.
Trip to Kyushu: Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Aso, Dazaifu and Amakusa, May 2024
Kyushu is my favorite region to visit in Japan. It's just a three-hour flight from Hong Kong, and the airport is very close to the city center. What I find most remarkable is the convenience of traveling between cities by Shinkansen, along with a variety of sophisticated sightseeing trains. From north to south, each city has its own unique vibe, allowing visitors to explore and discover the beauty of Japan.

Trip to Kansai: Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe and Himeji, January 2024
The birthday trip to Kansai in late January, which includes serval places near Osaka. From Nara to Kobe. Each of the places has a unique vibe and architecture to capture. The gear I use this time is relativelylightweightt and small. Which makes me easier to handle in the winter when I wear heavy and clumsy clothes.

Trip to Tokyo and Lake Kawaguchi 2023
It has been three years since my last visit to Tokyo. This time, I brought along my new film camera, which I had purchased during my previous travel. Surprisingly, all my favourite shots were captured by this 50-year-old camera, instead of my digital one.

Hong Kong
Cityscape & dailylife
I enjoy exploring the city on my own during my free time. I love discovering new and interesting places or things that catch my eye. Lately, I have developed a fondness for visiting the islands of Hong Kong, such as Tai O and Pang Chau. It offers me a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and enjoy a more relaxed holiday atmosphere. The added bonus of encountering numerous stray cats on these islands is also a delightful experience.

Daily Life in Hong Kong
Hong Kong's subtropical climate enables a variety of animals to thrive, resulting in impressive biodiversity. I am particularly fascinated by the butterflies and invertebrates that inhabit the region. The diverse sizes, colors, and behaviors of these creatures are truly stunning. Even in this metropolitan area, we have the opportunity to observe a significant number of wildlife species.

Wild Life
SHOWCASE OF hong Kong wildlife
The wildlife in Hong Kong is truly amazing, ranging from beautiful butterflies to creepy spiders and majestic birds like the Egret and Red-whiskered bulbul. Thanks to the subtropical weather, Hong Kong is the perfect habitat for various insects. Additionally, its strategic location along migratory bird routes makes it an ideal destination for bird-watching and photography enthusiasts.

Trip to Europe
Old Memory from the past
All European countries have a rich historical background, evident in both their architecture and art history. Every scene in the city can be an impressive landscape photo or a work of art.

Travel to Demark, September 2019
The first time I travelled completely alone in my life. The trip included serval cities in Demark. From Copenhagen to Billund, a relaxing trip to 4 main cities. The highlight of the trip must be the Lego House, unlike Legoland, Lego House is a complete museum of Lego. From the history of the Lego company to how the single Lego block is made. All the knowledge of Lego is stored in the museum.
Another famous tourist spot would be the stunning and classy castles which are located in several places. The most memorable one should be the Rederiksborg Castle in Hillerød. The Golden room of the castle is extraordinary to see with my own eyes also the chapel of the castle, both are created a strong impact on my aesthetic experience.

Travel to England, January 2019
9-day trip to London, Bath, Cambridge and Brighton, a trip that kick-started my photography journey. I am used to having a DSLR, due to the bulky and heavy weight of the gear. I taking photos with my phone. However, the picture quality of the mobile phone is not comparable to the camera with dedicated lenses.
Especially on the trip, there are many times I need to have a longer focal length lens. The mobile phone can't produce the result of a compressed, shallow depth of view. Despite the limitation of the gear, there are still some nice photos throughout the trip. I can surely say that I will be there in the future for another photography-centred trip.
